Editorial & Medical Review Process
Anagen Medical Institute publishes patient education content to help people make informed decisions about regenerative medicine. We take responsibility for what we publish. This page documents who creates that content, who reviews it, where our information comes from, and how we keep it current.
Who writes our content
Articles are authored by licensed clinicians on our team or by medical writers working directly with one of our clinicians. Every article carries a visible byline that links to the author's profile.
Who reviews our content
Every article is reviewed by one of the following licensed clinicians prior to publication:
- Jeffrey Davenport, MD — Physician
- James Peck, DDS — Dentist
When an article is authored by a mid-level clinician (such as a physician associate), it is medically reviewed by the appropriate supervising physician or dentist on our team. The reviewer and the date of last review are shown on every article.
Where our information comes from
We rely on peer-reviewed medical literature, government and public-health sources (such as the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration), and guidance from recognized professional bodies (such as the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons), in addition to the direct clinical experience of our providers.
Where appropriate, articles cite their primary sources inline. We do not present opinion as fact, and we clearly label evolving areas of regenerative medicine where evidence is still emerging.
How we keep content current
Each article is reviewed at least once per year and is updated sooner whenever new evidence, regulatory guidance, or clinical best practice meaningfully changes its recommendations. The "Last reviewed" date on each article reflects the most recent medical review.
Corrections and feedback
If you believe something we have published is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us. We investigate every report and update or remove content as warranted.
