IMPORTANT: This Is General Information Only
Every patient is unique. Your consultation determines the best approach for YOUR specific condition and goals. We don't push expensive treatments—we match treatment to your needs.
Processing Differences
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
Concentrated platelets and growth factors from your blood. Additives (bovine thrombin or citric acid) are required to prevent clotting. Effective for many conditions, widely studied, well-established treatment.
iPRF (Injectable Platelet-Rich Fibrin)
Advanced processing that captures higher concentrations of growth factors, white blood cells, and fibrin scaffold. Specialized test tubes prevent clotting for sufficient time to complete procedure without any additives -- completely made from your blood. Often more effective than basic PRP.
ePRF (Enhanced Platelet-Rich Fibrin)
Specialized processing that combines denatured albumin from the waste plasma with iPRF to create a gel-like consistency. This material has been shown to last 3-4 months continuing to provide regeneration months after a single treatment. Used for both therapeutic and aesthetic applications, including natural dermal filling and arthritic joint regeneration.
General Decision Factors (Subject to Your Consultation)
Condition Type | Often Recommended | Why |
|---|---|---|
Mild-moderate tendinitis | PRP or iPRF | Cost-effective, well-studied |
Mild chronic joint pain | iPRF | Higher growth factor concentration |
Aesthetic facial volume | ePRF | Restore or enhance volume naturally without the risks of artificial filler and with natural collagen growth providing long term results |
Hair restoration | iPRF + Red Light | Follicle stimulation + blood flow |
Severe arthritis | ePRF + Red Light | Maximum regenerative potential with months of effectiveness from one injection |
Facial rejuvenation | iPRF + Red Light | High concentration of growth factors fostering thicker, more vibrant, and younger looking skin |
Cost Considerations
PRP: More affordable, good for many conditions
iPRF: Mid-range pricing, often better results especially for more severe conditions
ePRF: Higher cost, maximum therapeutic benefit and ability to restore or enhance tissue volume.
We base recommendations on clinical need, not maximizing cost. We will recommend the most cost-effective treatment for your condition.
